Christmas collectibles are unique decorative items celebrating the season that are usually in limited release. These items can be expensive, but they will remain in the family forever.
Christmas Villages Collectibles
Christmas villages are a series of miniature porcelain buildings that make up an old fashioned village decorated for Christmas. The villages usually light up but the really interesting ones have some sort of movement like people dancing inside or skating on a pond. The buildings are typically sold separately and can be pricey so most people buy just one or two a year until they have a entire collection.
Traditional Christmas villages by Thomas Kinkade are well known holiday collectibles, but there are even more whimsical ones, such as the
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas Village Collection. Stores such as Lemax, Department 56 and CollectiblesToday all sell Christmas and snow villages. They are great for displaying on a coffee table.
